Example Romantic Itinerary

DAY 1:

- start your romantic getaway by checking in at 3 pm. on arrival you will find some roses to set the scene, a cold bottle of bubbly in the fridge, and a small celebration box in the pantry (stocked with brownies, cheese and crackers).

- enjoy a short stroll from your pod over to the Eden Garden to enjoy the sunset  (fun fact: Willard and Paulina, the married couple who manage the farm, built this garden together).

- for dinner, get messy making pizza out on the patio together, followed by something sweet and a bit of stargazing.

DAY 2:  

- start the day with an early morning guided walk on the farm, led by one of our experienced guides (booked at least 3 days in advance to avoid disappointment).

- next, set off on a brunch picnic. pack some goodies into your pod’s Field Bar cooler and find a pretty spot nearby where you can relax together and take in the view.

- time to relax and get spoilt! a professional therapist will pamper you with a 60 minute swedish or deep tissue couples massage, from the comfort of your pod.

- while you’re feeling relaxed, why not use the spectacular backdrop of the farm to capture your connection with a photoshoot by a professional photographer? (email info@untether.co.za to arrange. booking is essential, subject to availability)

- finally, it’s time for dinner. pick out another one of the meal kits from our online store to make together, or splash out on a romantic meal only a 5.3km drive away at Zomerlust House Restaurant. (email info@untether.co.za to arrange. limited seating available, so advanced booking is essential)

DAY 3:

-relish a slow start to the morning together with one of our breakfast meal kits on the patio… or head out 6.6km into town for croissants and coffee at Fifty Five Croissants.

- spend the afternoon sipping on refreshing wines and tasting some local Wellington treats with one of our excellent tour guides. they can pick you up wherever and whenever suits you best!

- if you have your own set of wheels and prefer doing your own thing, here are some of the top spots to try together:

- alternatively, if you’re in the mood for adventure then take a walk on the wild side together with tandem skydiving at the Diemerskraal Airfield, only 26 km away from the farm…

DAY 4:

- wake up on the last morning of your trip feeling refreshed and reconnected with your partner. enjoy one more breakfast out on the patio while taking in the view for the last time, before checking out by 10am and hitting the road to head home.
