Perhaps we were cooped up inside for too long during covid. Perhaps the expansiveness of the outdoors called so strongly, we were finally forced to surrender to it.
In 2020 two friends turned off their laptops and drove out to the picturesque countryside in Wellington.
Once they found themselves in the wild, they decided that their next venture would not be another tech business, but an off the grid luxury eco farm. A place where others could disconnect from the grid, cut themselves loose and lose themselves in nature. A place to find something wild, to untether.
